The Martial Arts Coalition for Sustainable Development (MCS) is launching the MCS Youth Ambassadors Program, a new initiative designed to empower young leaders within our global network of member organizations.
As MCS continues to grow—now bringing together over 100 organizations across more than 40 countries—we believe it is essential to create space for the next generation of martial artists who are actively contributing to sustainable development in their communities.
The Youth Ambassadors Program aims to support and amplify the role of young people who are already using martial arts as a tool for social impact.
Who Are the MCS Youth Ambassadors?
MCS Youth Ambassadors are young leaders nominated by MCS member organizations who are actively involved in martial arts and community-based initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
They represent a new generation of practitioners who are not only committed to personal development through martial arts, but also to creating positive change in their communities.
Through this program, Youth Ambassadors will help strengthen youth engagement across the coalition while contributing their perspectives and experiences to the development of MCS initiatives.
What Youth Ambassadors Will Do
Participants in the program will play an active role in promoting and supporting MCS activities. Their contributions may include:
- Engaging youth and student communities connected to their organizations
- Initiating or supporting youth-focused activities such as workshops, campaigns, or local events
- Sharing insights and experiences to help inform MCS programs and strategies
- Contributing to storytelling and visibility efforts that highlight youth-led impact
This is a practical leadership opportunity for young people who want to take initiative and contribute to a global movement connecting martial arts and sustainable development.
Capacity Building and Global Connection
Youth Ambassadors will also have access to capacity-building opportunities designed to strengthen their skills in areas such as leadership, project implementation, communication, and youth engagement.
By connecting young leaders from different regions of the world, the program aims to foster collaboration, exchange of ideas, and a stronger collective impact across the MCS network.
